Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Coldwater, MI is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to fill prescriptions safely, educate patients, and supervise pharmacy operations on-site. You will maintain strong patient and team relationships and ensure adherence to all laws and Meijer policies.

This full-time role requires active pharmacy licensure, a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, and Immunization certification, with responsibilities including clinical immunizations where allowed.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
Retail/Community Practice.
Working knowledge of pharmacy system and procedures.

Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
Oversee immunizations and clinical services as applicable.
Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, manage the pharmacy operations.
