Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) to join our front-line emergency team. You will handle a wide range of emergencies alongside doctors, providing gold-standard, compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include triage, anesthesia, diagnostics, and critical care nursing, with opportunities to grow skills and mentor others. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology is strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician in the state of the VEG practice.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role, emergency or specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Provide nursing care, emotional support, and patient management from admission to discharge.
• Assist with advanced techniques and equipment including IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, endoscopy, ultrasounds.
