Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Relief Customer Service Representative to build solid relationships with customers while driving sales growth on assigned routes.

You will safely operate a step van, manage daily routes, and communicate pricing and policies clearly to customers. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with strong math and computer skills and a proven customer-service track record.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a step van to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Loads/unloads product per company policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads/prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
• Clearly communicate services, policies, and pricing to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle issues promptly and courteously.
• Maintain safety practices and use proper tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as required within scope.
