Vestis is seeking a Relief Customer Service Representative to build strong customer relationships while driving sales on assigned routes. You will operate a step van, manage daily routes, and maintain accurate invoices and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes proactive lead generation, service explanations, and prompt handling of customer issues, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a variety of customers.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and solve customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and keep operator documentation up to date.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Load/unload product per company policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to increase profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospective customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Explain services, policies, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Prioritize personal safety and follow all safety practices.
