Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Relief Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes in Indiana. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and provide courteous service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and services per dispatch.
• Load refuse and operate the packer and disposal at facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as needed.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and clean spills as required.
• Maintain reports and productivity sheets; adhere to productivity standards.
