Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Relief Driver – CDL (A) to safely operate heavy trucks and ensure prompt collection and disposal of large containers. You will follow safety standards, perform routine vehicle checks, and complete daily reports to maintain operational readiness.

Responsibilities include route servicing, loading/unloading, minor container repairs, and courteous customer interactions. Two years of trucking experience and a valid CDL A with air brakes endorsement are preferred

Competenze

• Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated routes and service customers as assigned.
• Load/unload refuse and dispose at designated facilities; operate compactor.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues daily.
• Perform minor container repairs and identify unsatisfactory waste containers.
