Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Relief Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services.

You will ensure the vehicle meets safety standards and complete daily VCRs, maintaining compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, servicing routes, loading refuse, engaging with customers, and completing route reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory containers and monitor waste quality.
• Complete required reports (VCRs, productivity sheets).
• Maintain safety standards and participate in ReSOP program.
