Job summary
CertainTeed Gypsum Plant in Proctor, WV seeks a Maintenance Engineer to boost plant reliability using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Early Equipment Management (EEM). You will lead maintenance initiatives, perform root cause analysis, and support TPM programs while ensuring CMMS documentation and compliance.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 1 year of maintenance/engineering experience and strong problem-solving and communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance/engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/P&ID a plus.
- Experience with CMMS and reliability tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance initiatives: plan, evaluate, and implement maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and maximize safety.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to improve plant reliability.
- Support TPM efforts and collaborate with maintenance teams on preventive maintenance strategies.
- Ensure projects meet WCM/EEM standards and maintain CMMS records.
