Job summary

CertainTeed, a Saint-Gobain division, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team at our Michigan facility in the Upper Peninsula. You will drive reliability of plant equipment and push proactive maintenance programs with World Class Manufacturing principles.

You will collaborate with plant leadership, manage improvement projects, and minimize unplanned downtime. Occasional travel is expected to support cross-site initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within a large

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10 years manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience working in a complex maintenance leadership role interfacing with the Plant Leadership Team, corporate Manufacturing Performance Team, and unionized plant employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound leadership to Maintenance Team as they maximize reliability of plant equipment.
• Be leader of professional maintenance oriented improvement projects moving us from reactive at times to proactive.
• Incorporate World Class Manufacturing (WCM) techniques and principles into all maintenance systems.
• Develop and maintain a proactive preventative maintenance program focused on reducing unplanned machine down time.
• Develop solid working relationships across all plant personnel.
• Minimal travel required.
