Qualifications

  • English fluency in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of test programs for reliability assessments using C#, Python, C++, and related tools.
  • Assist wafer-level and package-level reliability testing including HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM.
  • Perform electrical measurements with probers and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings for engineering review.
  • Support standardization, automation, calibration, and lab organization.

The intern will contribute to wafer-level and package-level reliability testing, test automation, equipment operation, and data delivery while collaborating with FEOL, BEOL, and Product Reliability engineering teams.Essential Responsibilities include:Support development and maintenance of test programs and test capabilities for new technology reliability assessments using C#, Python, C++, and related tools.Assist with wafer-level and package-level reliability testing, including HCI, BTI, TDDB, and EM.Execute electrical measurements using semi-automatic and fully automatic probers and support accurate, on-time data collection.Analyze test results, troubleshoot measurement or equipment issues, and document findings for engineering review.Support standardization, automation, equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and laboratory organization.Collaborate with FEOL, BEOL, Product Reliability, and laboratory engineering teams to support technology development and qualification activities.Other Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.Preferred Qualifications:Prior related internship or co-op experienceDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong planning & organizational skillsCoursework or laboratory experience in semiconductor devices, circuits, reliability, or electrical characterization.Programming experience with Python, C#, C++, Visual Basic, or a related language; familiarity with probers or electrical test equipment is a plus.#InternshipProgramUSExpected Salary Range$20.00 - $40.00Expected Salary Range$0.00 - $0.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at usaccommodations@gf.com and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
