Job summary

Base is hiring a Reliability Test Engineer to push the limits of our hardware before it ships. You will design and build test setups, automate them, and run electrical, mechanical, environmental, and reliability campaigns, turning results into reports that guide design decisions.

You have a degree in a relevant engineering field and 2+ years of hands-on testing of electromechanical products with embedded firmware.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on test engineering on electromechanical products.
• Experience with DAQ systems, sensors, and signal conditioning.
• Proficiency in Python and/or LabVIEW for test automation.
• Ability to document findings with clear, data-driven reports.

Responsibilities

• Run validation across electrical, mechanical, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Build test setups: fixtures and PCBAs, sensors, and automate equipment.
• Lead root cause and failure analysis on test findings.
• Automate analysis and anomaly detection across large datasets.
• Write high-signal reports that drive design decisions.
