Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Hardware Reliability Engineer Technical Lead to build and scale our hardware reliability function from the ground up. You will define product reliability requirements, establish rigorous test strategies, and drive end-to-end execution across automotive, trucking, defense, and other harsh environments.

As the technical authority for hardware reliability, you will lead cross-functional alignment, manage third-party testing partners, and work with external enterprise

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on Hardware Reliability Engineering experience.
• Experience shipping products in consumer electronics and heavy-duty/regulated industries.
• Proven leadership in defining reliability requirements and test plans.
• Scripting/programming for test automation and data extraction.
• Customer-facing experience presenting reliability data to enterprise customers.
• Bachelor's or higher in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Architect, establish, and scale the hardware reliability function (0 to 1).
• Define hardware reliability requirements and test strategies for harsh environments.
• Lead 3rd-party test labs and manufacturing partners to execute plans on time.
• Collaborate across hardware design, quality, and systems engineering.
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions into design.
• Hands-on scripting to streamline testing workflows and data analysis.
