Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I to maintain plant equipment and focus on reliability, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement. You will minimize downtime and improve equipment performance while supporting plant operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot varied systems, install/upgrade equipment, and participate in TPM initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or military technical field (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shift schedules.
• Ability to pass mechanical and electrical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment failures
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems
• Repair and maintain production, utility, and facility equipment
• Install and upgrade equipment following OEM specifications
• Work closely with operations to resolve equipment issues quickly and safely
• Support and participate in TPM, SPS, and Maintenance Excellence initiatives
• Document maintenance work and track historical data for analysis
• Assist with root cause analysis (RCCA), FMEA, and analytical troubleshooting
• Maintain strong housekeeping and safety standards
• Use and maintain shop equipment such as lathes, drills, and milling machines
• Read and interpret schematics (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
• Assist in training other maintenance team members
• Support small projects to improve equipment reliability and performance
