Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking an Industrial Maintenance and Reliability Technician III in Waco, TX. This advanced role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving critical manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and uptime.

Candidates should have a technical degree and 8+ years of industrial or military maintenance experience, strong leadership, PLC programming, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of significant industrial or military maintenance experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor less experienced technicians.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and PLC programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety policies and procedures, including LOTO, PPE requirements, and safe machine operation.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment specifications, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot motors, contactors, relays, and other electrical components using multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, PLCs, industrial controls, and motor-control systems.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Document completed repairs, parts used, and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced technicians.
