Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Morristown, TN is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician III to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.

The IMRT III will diagnose complex equipment issues, identify root causes, and work independently to keep production

Qualifications

Significant industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, electrical controls, motors, contactors, relays, and industrial motor-control systems.
Comfort reading electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Hands-on maintenance: preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Experience diagnosing equipment failures and performing root-cause analysis.
Experience with chillers, pumps, compressors, motors, and related equipment.
Experience with CMMS to document maintenance activities and equipment history.

Responsibilities

Follow all plant safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
Troubleshoot motors, relays, and electrical components using diagnostic tools.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, PLCs, and motor-control systems.
Diagnose mechanical/electrical failures and determine corrective actions.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chillers, pumps, compressors, ink/ glue pumps.
Operate shop equipment such as bandsaws, mills, and lathes.
Document repairs, parts used, and equipment conditions in CMMS.
Assist with spare parts inventory and parts room organization.
Participate in GPS activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Be available for overtime/weekend when needed.
Perform additional maintenance tasks as assigned.
