Job summary

Helion Group in Louisiana is seeking an industrial maintenance technician to keep high-volume aluminum equipment running at peak performance. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and service extrusion presses and related machinery.

You'll read blueprints and schematics, changeover equipment, install and repair components, and document all maintenance activity.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial maintenance on a manufacturing floor.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Service and repair extrusion presses and supporting equipment.
• Work with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and other rotating machinery.
• Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic components; cylinders and valves.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting with a multimeter and electrical schematics.
• Execute equipment changeovers, installations, and corrective repairs.
• Complete PMs and document maintenance activities.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
