Job summary

Skana Aluminum is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment essential to aluminum manufacturing. You will perform preventive maintenance, install and service complex machinery, and respond quickly to production issues while adhering to safety and LOTO procedures.

The role emphasizes reliability, reduced downtime, and collaboration with the maintenance and production teams to drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Plan, lay out and install complex machinery and systems with attention to manufacturer specifications.
• Respond quickly to equipment issues and communicate with production/maintenance teams.
• Follow OSHA, LOTO and safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Keep production running safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with upgrades, relocations, or shutdown maintenance as needed.
