Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Reliability Technician B on a 12-hour rotating shift. The role focuses on maintaining equipment capacity and optimizing efficiency at a reasonable cost, with emphasis on safety and precise, customer-oriented workmanship.

Responsibilities include PM, PdM, CM, and proactive maintenance planning, plus repairing equipment and communicating findings to leadership. This position supports continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Safety practices including LOTO, PPE, hot work, fall protection and rigging are essential.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and simple sketches.
Experience applying lubrication schedules and conducting preventive/predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment and processes to high performance levels across mechanical systems.
Execute PM, PdM and CM activities per schedules and analysis.
Identify root causes, communicate findings and corrective steps to operations leadership.
Support troubleshooting and repair to minimize downtime and safety risks.
Mentor junior reliability techs and contribute to maintenance plans.
Follow safety standards and document work orders accurately.
