Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Reliability Tech B/C/D on a 12-hour Swing Shift to maintain equipment and maximize capacity and efficiency. The role supports safe work practices and adheres to standards while contributing to continuous improvement across production lines.

The position involves learning maintenance practices, performing PM/PdM/CM activities, and communicating findings to operations and leadership to reduce downtime and improve overall performance.

Qualifications

• Safety practices include LOTO, Confined Space, PPE, PIT, Fall.
• Power transmission components: bearings, pulleys, shafts, belts, gears, couplings.
• Plumbing/piping conveyance system types, terms, operation, maintenance.
• Precision alignment techniques, including laser alignment.
• Basic troubleshooting of mechanical systems and diagnosing failures.
• Measurement units and tools, reading electrical/mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute safe, high-quality maintenance tasks with customer-service orientation.
• Learn and apply maintenance practices to equipment performance and manufacturing processes.
• Provide feedback on job needs and opportunities with peers and leadership.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance per schedules and plans.
• Assist reliability team with installation/removal of mechanical systems.
