Job summary

Shaw Industries seeks a Maintenance Technician C for a 1st shift in Chatsworth, GA (Plant WE). The role ensures equipment capacity and efficiency at the lowest reasonable cost, on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Safety practices and personal protective equipment usage.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Math skills including area/volume calculations and unit conversions.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to reduce downtime.
• Develop and follow preventive and predictive maintenance plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance tasks with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Maintain equipment performance to support manufacturing processes.
• Use PM and PdM techniques to inspect, lubricate, and replace components.
• Collaborate with operations to identify improvements and corrective actions.
• Assist other maintenance roles with installation and removal of equipment.
