Job summary

Shaw Industries in Dalton, GA, seeks a Maintenance Tech C-2 on the 2nd shift to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment. You will perform hands-on maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and assist senior technicians to minimize downtime.

You will participate in preventive and predictive maintenance, document actions, and help with installations and improvements while following safety standards.

Qualifications

Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
1–2 years of Maintenance experience preferred.
Familiarity with CMMS and basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Maintain mechanical components such as bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, and gearboxes.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Document issues, root causes, and corrective actions to maintenance teams.
Support plant reliability and improvement initiatives.
