Job summary

Shaw Industries seeks a Reliability Tech B/C/D on a 12-hour swing shift (8a–8p and 8p–8a) to maintain equipment assets and ensure capacity, efficiency, and performance at the lowest reasonable cost within assigned areas. Based in Dalton, Georgia.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and condition maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and implement improvements while collaborating with operations and maintenance leadership.

Qualifications

• Safety practices such as LOTO, confined space, PPE, PIT, fall safety.
• Knowledge of power transmission components, bearings, pulleys, shafts, belts, motors, gearboxes.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and diagnose failures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned tasks with focus on safety and quality.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and condition maintenance per plans.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Provide feedback on maintenance needs and opportunities to leadership.
• Support installation and removal of general mechanical systems.
