Job summary

You will drive reliability requirements, lead risk assessment and mitigation, and ensure performance, durability, and customer satisfaction targets are met, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class quality and long-term customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product development or reliability engineering experience in consumer goods or appliances.
• Demonstrated success improving reliability through analytical and test-based methods.
• Experience converting warranty and field performance data into actionable solutions.
• Experience developing accelerated life testing and targets for thermal or electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Define product reliability, durability, and life requirements.
• Lead Design Assurance Lab and reliability validation plans based on customer use conditions.
• Lead reliability focused FMEA activities and facilitate risk mitigation plans.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate reliability performance and support engineering decision making.
• Optimize test plans to reduce cycle time while maintaining statistical confidence.
• Analyze field failures and warranty data to identify emerging risks and correlate to lab performance.
• Lead complex root cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Own failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS).
