Cooper Farms in Van Wert, Ohio is seeking a weekend Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our plant team. The role focuses on major rebuilds, troubleshooting, and engineering upgrades to keep production lines running reliably.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance and/or rebuild experience.
• Thorough understanding of control and safety wiring.
• Strong fabrication and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine rebuilds.
• Troubleshoot and repair complicated machine issues.
• Ensure completion of all jobs and maintain an accurate log of work.
• Engineer and fabricate machine upgrades and repairs.
• Ensure all equipment is ready for start-up on Monday mornings.
• Rebuild parts for equipment (motor, gearbox, heaters, etc.).

Our Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant in Van Wert County, Ohio creates, cooks, and slices some of the highest quality deli products on the market for brands you know and trust. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a weekend Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Van Wert.

The primary goal of this position is to perform major rebuilds and play integral role in all projects involving equipment.

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 paid as $1,000 at thirty days, $1,000 at sixty days and $1,000 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.

SHIFT HOURS: 12 hours every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6:00a - 6:00p) & 4 hours on Monday (6:00a - 10:00a)

STARTING RATE: $26.65 - $34.65/hour depending on experience

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
