Job summary

Cooper Farms in Van Wert, Ohio is seeking a weekend Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our plant team. The role focuses on major rebuilds, troubleshooting, and engineering upgrades to keep production lines running reliably.

You will perform rebuilds, repair complex machine issues, and ensure readiness for Monday start-up. We offer sign-on bonus, profit-sharing, and comprehensive benefits as part of our commitment to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance and/or rebuild experience.
• Thorough understanding of control and safety wiring.
• Strong fabrication and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine rebuilds.
• Troubleshoot and repair complicated machine issues.
• Ensure completion of all jobs and maintain an accurate log of work.
• Engineer and fabricate machine upgrades and repairs.
• Ensure all equipment is ready for start-up on Monday mornings.
• Rebuild parts for equipment (motor, gearbox, heaters, etc.).
