Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking a weekend Reliability Maintenance Specialist for our Van Wert, Ohio location. The role focuses on major rebuilds and playing an integral part in equipment projects. The position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule of 12-hour shifts Fri-Sun plus Monday mornings.

Primary duties include rebuilding machines, troubleshooting issues, fabricating upgrades, and ensuring start-up readiness for Monday. Competitive benefits and profit-sharing are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance and/or rebuild experience.
• Thorough understanding of control and safety wiring.
• Strong fabrication and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine rebuilds.
• Troubleshoot and repair complicated machine issues.
• Ensure completion of all jobs and maintain an accurate log of work.
• Engineer and fabricate machine upgrades and repairs.
• Ensure all equipment is ready for start-up on Monday mornings.
• Rebuild parts for equipment (motor, gearbox, heaters, etc.)

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a weekend Reliability Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Van Wert.

The primary goal of this position is to perform major rebuilds and play integral role in all projects involving equipment.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $1,000 at thirty days, $1,000 at sixty days and $1,000 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.).

SHIFT HOURS: 12 hours every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6:0a - 6:0p) & 4 hours on Monday (6:0a - 10:0a)

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
