Job summary

Plansee in Franklin, USA is seeking a Maintenance Planning and Facilities Support Lead to oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and coordination of services. You will supervise on-site contractors, manage parts and procurement, and ensure safety, reliability, and uptime aligned with production priorities.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, proficiency with CNC machinery and automation, and strong Excel scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical proficiency with CNC machinery and automated equipment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel; scheduling and service coordination.
• Ability to install, maintain, and repair automated and computer-controlled systems.
• Basic electrical calculations; blueprint/schematic literacy.
• Comfort with extensive hand and power tool use.
• Experience operating forklifts and aerial lifts (PIV).
• SAP exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and execute preventive maintenance programs aligned with production priorities.
• Supervise contractors on site for safety, quality, and internal customer satisfaction.
• Maintain parts readiness and coordinate procurement to prevent delays.
• Record work orders, inspections, and service history accurately.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and work orders to troubleshoot per OEM specs.
• Safely perform tasks at height using aerial/scissor/boom lifts.
• Coordinate external suppliers for repairs and manage parts procurement.
