Job summary

Plansee USA LLC located in Franklin, USA is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage warehouse scheduling, master production planning, and fulfillment processes. You will coordinate with Sales, Operations, and QA to ensure on-time delivery and optimize inventory levels.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in manufacturing logistics, proficiency with MS Office and MRP/SAP systems, and a track record in lean practices.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
5–7 years in warehouse, scheduling, planning, and purchasing in manufacturing.
Proficient with MS Office and an MRP system; SAP R/3 Logistics experience preferred.
Demonstrated leadership including coaching and developing staff.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines under time constraints and lean manufacturing exposure.
CPIM & APICS certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and communicate ship dates to sales based on capacity and ongoing communication.
Oversee master production schedules to support service; adjust plans as needed.
Interface with Sales on demand forecasts, consignment stock, and inventory controls.
Coordinate with Operations, QA and Sales to ensure on-time delivery.
Establish warehouse procedures for receiving, shipping, and inventory accuracy.
Ensure materials/services meet production commitments.
Collaborate with freight forwarders on import/export issues.
Hire and train warehouse personnel; assign work tasks.
