Job summary

Plansee USA LLC in Franklin, USA, is seeking an experienced hourly manufacturing professional to coordinate operator assignments, assist planning, operate CNC machinery, and uphold ISO 9001/AS9100 standards. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, CNC familiarity, lean manufacturing knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be familiar with CNC machine tools and functions, programming and editing lathe and/or milling machines.
• Must be familiar with metal fabrication, assembly and equipment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the assignments of operators/machinists to ensure production efficiency.
• Assist supervision in planning manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Perform routine machine operations including start-up/shutdown and operation of equipment.
• Monitor machine performance for quality output using standard inspection tools.
• Train new employees in setup, operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Update and troubleshoot machine programs and tooling to maintain production.
• Provide group leadership to achieve safety, cost, production and ISO/AS9100 compliance.
