Job summary

Metallus in Canton, OH, is seeking a Shop Services Asset Professional II to coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling for machine shop and fabrication operations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years in maintenance planning, reliability, machining, fabrication, supervision, or industrial manufacturing experience.
• Preferred: Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field with 4+ years of related experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field with 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance work plans for CNC machines and related assets.
• Define labor, materials, tooling, and contractor resources needed for safe execution.
• Create comprehensive work packages including procedures, drawings, OEM manuals, permits, lockout/tagout requirements, and technical documentation.
• Review completed work orders and update PM procedures, BOMs, and standard job plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Schedule maintenance work aligned with production priorities and available labor capacity.
