Job summary

ASR Group in Baltimore, MD seeks a Reliability Engineer to support the Maintenance & Engineering Department, improving equipment reliability, operating efficiency, safety and service quality at the refinery.

Responsibilities include leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs, planning complex maintenance projects, and optimizing SAP Plant Maintenance to minimize downtime and costs across the refinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Or minimum of ten years maintenance technician experience in an industrial setting or equivalent military training.
• Experience with process equipment including evaporators, condensers, heat exchangers, piping, pumps, motors, kilns and vacuum pans.

Responsibilities

• Improve the reliability of refinery & powerhouse equipment through preventive maintenance activities.
• Oversee the predictive maintenance program.
• Plan and direct maintenance projects from concept to construction including scheduling and procurement.
• Lead the Preventative Checklist program to minimize refinery downtime and manage M&R budget.
• Troubleshoot problems, diagnose repairs, and create design/fabrication drawings.
• Maintain and update equipment files; coordinate spare parts.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and health & safety teams.
• Support performance standards, monitor efficiency, and uphold safety standards.
• Identify issues and implement improvement plans aligned with plant goals.
• Develop and recommend capital projects to support improvements.
