Job summary

KENT Nutrition, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family, is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Sheldon, Iowa to lead maintenance operations, drive reliability, and champion continuous improvement. You will guide a skilled team to ensure safe, efficient production and preventive maintenance programs that reduce downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, 5+ years in equipment/process/facility reliability, and 3+ years of leadership experience, with CMMS exposure and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, a related technical field, or a combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing equipment, process, and facility reliability solutions in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience leading maintenance teams and driving operational results.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
• Experience utilizing CMMS preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily execution of maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs that improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance team members through effective training, scheduling, performance management, and succession planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and operational issues while ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs.
• Partner with production, engineering, and other departments to prioritize maintenance activities and support operational objectives.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including labor, parts, contractors, and capital improvement projects, while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
