Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group in Sheldon, IA, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team, ensuring safe, reliable operation of equipment and facilities. You will drive reliability and continuous improvement to support production success and product quality.

You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manage the maintenance budget, and partner with production and engineering to meet operational objectives and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing equipment/process/facility reliability solutions in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership experience leading maintenance teams.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
• Experience utilizing CMMS is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment and facilities.
• Develop and manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Supervise and develop maintenance team members through training and performance management.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and carry out repairs.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Manage the maintenance budget including labor, parts, contractors, and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
