Job summary

Arconic Corporation in Lancaster, PA seeks a Maintenance Operations Leader to direct planned and unplanned maintenance for production equipment and optimize preventative maintenance to maximize up-time and reliability.

You will lead the adoption of maintenance and reliability best practices, reduce unplanned downtime, coordinate with Production, SCM, Engineering, Planning, Scheduling and EHS, and develop your team while partnering with HR on people systems.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Degree in a technical field preferred; Engineering, IT, Technician.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability best practices across the Lancaster site and benchmark with other Arconic locations.
• Reduce unplanned downtimes and improve utilization/duration of planned maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, SCM, Engineering, Planning & Scheduling, and EHS.
• Coach and develop direct and indirect reports; identify succession plans for technical roles.
• Manage contractor support for outages and document procedures, tolerances and materials.
• Collaborate with Procurement to optimize parts, contracts and service agreements.
