Job summary

Arconic Maintenance Operations Leader for the Hot Mill in Lancaster, PA directs planned and unplanned maintenance across production equipment and drives preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime and reliability.

The role requires strong leadership in a manufacturing setting, cross-functional collaboration with Production, SCM, Engineering, Planning and EHS, and the ability to optimize downtime while managing contractor activities during outages.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability best practices across the plant.
• Reduce unplanned downtime and improve maintenance utilization.
• Coordinate with Production, SCM, Engineering, Planning and Scheduling, and EHS.
• Manage contractors during outages and repairs and ensure proper documentation.
• Document repair techniques and training; provide emergency technical support for critical operations.
• Develop and coach direct and indirect reports, with succession planning for technical roles.
• Collaborate with HR to manage performance, rewards, and employee development.
• Identify and act on cost-reduction and productivity opportunities in maintenance.
