Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join the Manufacturing Technology Engineering team, focusing on reliability excellence across Rolling Mills and Extrusion Plants. This position is based in Davenport, IA (preferred) with potential locations in Alcoa, TN or Lancaster, PA.

The role requires developing and implementing reliability systems, conducting maintenance strategies, and driving improvement across the enterprise. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years' experience in Equipment Reliability, Maintenance, or Engineering.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and coach implementation of Equipment Reliability system components such as Defect Elimination, Criticality Analysis, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, CMMS.
• Conduct Condition-based Monitoring and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
• Drive culture and ownership of Reliability across the enterprise.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in OEE and productivity and report to Business Units.

Responsibilities

• Drive, coach and implement Reliability Excellence systems across multiple Rolling Mills and Extrusion Plants with the business.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Develop standards, coach implementation of Equipment Reliability system components such as Defect Elimination, Criticality Analysis, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, CMMS
• Condition-based Monitoring and Reliability Centered Maintenance
• Drive the culture and ownership of Reliability across the enterprise
• Identify and report to the Business Units the opportunities for improvement in OEE and productivity
• Leverage other resources within Manufacturing Technology and Engineering team as well as other resources such as IT and Finance to drive effective and sustainable change in Equipment Reliability
• Major Customers include Business Unit, Operation and Maintenance Managers in Rolled Products and Extrusions
• This role may require 25% or more travel

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5 years' experience in Equipment Reliability, Maintenance, or Engineering
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
