Job summary

Accelera Staffing seeks a Maintenance Manager for an industrial adhesive manufacturer in Mesquite, TX. You will oversee maintenance, reliability initiatives, and capital projects for a 24/7 facility, guiding a hands-on team and coordinating with production to drive results.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in maintenance management, strong technical background, and proficiency with CMMS/ERP. This role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration across shifts.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing maintenance department.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery, including mechanical and electrical systems.
A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency in utilizing CMMS and ERP software to manage maintenance reliability.
Strong project management capabilities and clear communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment to protect the well‑being of all employees.
Ability to work full‑time at our Mesquite, TX location.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of seven technicians, ensuring coverage across all three shifts.
Promote a culture of safety to ensure all staff members return home in the same condition they arrived.
Provide technical guidance on mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation issues to help the team resolve complex problems.
Optimize the use of the MVPOne CMMS to ensure all maintenance activities are tracked and scheduled efficiently.
Improve overall equipment effectiveness by shifting the focus toward proactive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Foster productive partnerships with production staff to ensure seamless communication across all operational shifts.
Maintain fiscal responsibility regarding spare parts inventory, contractor management, and departmental budgets.
Direct capital project execution to ensure infrastructure and equipment upgrades are completed on time and within budget.
Introduce continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, TPM, 5S, and FMEA to enhance long‑term operational efficiency.
Oversee diverse equipment including boilers, steam systems, conveyors, pumps, and packaging lines with electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC.
