Job summary

Pro Services Workforce Solutions has a direct hire Maintenance Manager opportunity in Mesquite, TX. You will lead maintenance, reliability and capital projects for a 24/7 plant producing food-grade hot melt adhesive, supervising seven technicians across three shifts.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll mentor the team, manage CMMS (MVPOne), safety programs, budgets, and capital projects, and partner with production to drive OEE and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience.
• Hands-on industrial maintenance background.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of CMMS and ERP systems and industrial equipment reliability.
• Proven project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset with the ability to hold others accountable for safe work practices.
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Mesquite, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance team of seven technicians across three shifts.
• Champion safety and stay compliant with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Get on the floor to support mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation troubleshooting, then coach and delegate the repair to your team.
• Use the plant CMMS (MVPOne) to plan, schedule, assign, and track work, and grow its use.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs that reduce reactive work and improve reliability and OEE.
• Build strong working relationships with production and other departments, and keep communication open across all shifts.
• Oversee budgets, contractors, spare parts, and cost controls.
• Lead capital projects, including budgets and resources, as the site updates building/equipment.
• Over time, implement continuous improvement through Lean, TPM, 5S, DMAIC, and FMEA.
• Support equipment such as boilers, chillers, conveyors, pumps, and robotics with electrical from 24 VDC to 480 VAC.
