Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 1+ year GMP experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design new systems or equipment, direct plant personnel in proper methods and procedures, and execute or oversee preventive maintenance.
• Conducts analysis to determine reliability approach considering cost, uptime, and materials.
• Prepare technical reports with recommendations and support investigations and audits.
• Manage small to medium-scale engineering projects to improve computer-based systems or equipment upgrades.
• Provide project status reports to management at various levels.
• Plan and schedule own work and respond to on-demand assignments.
• Collaborate with equipment users, engineers and technicians to achieve department goals.
• Communicate with supervisors, management, and external manufacturers/suppliers.
• Read and follow SOPs and WI's; assess equipment for correct maintenance and critical spares.
• Oversee vibration program and create repair plans for problematic assets.
• Maintain safe, clean and compliant work environment and ensure training compliance.
• Domestic travel up to 5% may be required.
