Job summary

Scientific Protein Laboratories in Waunakee, WI seeks a Reliability Engineer I to lead a maintenance team in implementing reliability programs, optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance, and extending asset life. You'll collaborate with Quality, Validation, and Engineering to reduce downtime and support GMP compliance.

The role emphasizes risk-based PM categorization, RCA/FMEA, and capital-project reliability input to improve equipment uptime and reliability across the facility.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or above (Electrical/Mechanical/C Reliability).
• 2+ years of experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with reliability analytics and maintenance optimization.
• GMP or regulated environment experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability analyses (RCA, FMEA) to eliminate repeat failures.
• Own PM program categorization, intervals, and optimization.
• Develop and oversee PdM programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis).
• Lead RCA for significant failures and drive CAPA closure.
• Provide reliability input to capital projects and design reviews.
