Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive reliability improvements across our plant operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze equipment history, perform root cause analyses, and support design and deployment of new equipment focused on reliability and maintainability.

You will lead RCA efforts, monitor MTTR/MTBF, optimize PM/PdM activities, and contribute to autonomous maintenance initiatives while training staff and maintaining CMMS/SAP PM best

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing.
• Masters degree preferred.
• CMRP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 7 years in industrial maintenance or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Leads RCA efforts to prevent equipment failures and shares findings across sites.
• Monitors MTTR and MTBF to identify reliability improvements.
• Analyzes defects from PM/PdM activities for optimization.
• Participates in new equipment design and installation.
• Reviews spare parts and mitigates obsolescence risks.
• Introduces preventive and predictive maintenance tools and CMMS cadence.
• Develops lubrication program and tracks performance.
• Supports autonomous maintenance and trains operations.
• Drives proactive performance through planners and scheduling.
• Ensures CMMS training and system integrity; SAP PM SME.
• Performs other duties and adheres to policies.
• Manages staff development and coaching.
