Job summary

Siemens Energy in Fort Payne, Alabama seeks a Reliability Engineer to lead proactive maintenance, reduce downtime, and maximize equipment uptime. You will partner with third-party maintenance teams, operators and Operations Managers to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.

This role focuses on data-driven performance analysis and technical leadership in project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background in manufacturing, with 8+

Qualifications

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree (equivalent relevant experience considered).
8+ years of experience in manufacturing.
Experience with CMMS.
Familiar with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, PLCs, HMIs, robots, and CNC machines.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

Drive initiatives to reduce machine downtime and improve preventative maintenance.
Maximize equipment uptime and partner with maintenance teams and operators.
Resolve equipment issues and mentor technical staff.
Lead data-driven equipment performance analysis and project execution.
Support proactive maintenance program management and TPM tasks.
Provide technical leadership for reliability improvements.
