Job summary
Synthomer Jefferson Hills facility in Pennsylvania seeks a Reliability Engineer to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and plant performance. You will lead RCAs, develop preventive maintenance strategies, and collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, SHE, and Engineering to minimize downtime.
Analyze equipment health using CMMS data, implement predictive techniques, and support capital projects to ensure long-term asset integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- 3+ years in reliability/maintenance engineering within chemical manufacturing or similar.
- Knowledge of reliability tools (RCA, RCM, FMEA, Weibull).
- Familiarity with rotating and fixed equipment and PSM mechanical integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead reliability program and RCA/failure investigations.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Analyze downtime trends and equipment health using CMMS data.
- Support capital projects to ensure reliability and operability.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations and SHE.
