Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support reliability, maintenance, and asset management within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment. The role requires collaboration across Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation to improve equipment reliability and readiness.

The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical, electrical, or process systems in GMP settings and apply data-driven improvement, RCA, and PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Experience with or knowledge of CMMS.
• Experience in reliability/maintenance in regulated life sciences environments.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability engineering activities for facility, utility, process, and manufacturing equipment in GMP and non-GMP environments.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs and asset maintenance strategies.
• Perform equipment and system criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance and reliability activities.
• Lead or support RCA and failure investigations for equipment and system issues.
• Analyze equipment performance, maintenance history, downtime, and failure data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, maintain, and report reliability metrics and KPIs to measure equipment performance and identify gaps.
