Job summary

Form Energy, based in West Virginia, is seeking an hands-on Equipment Maintenance professional to improve uptime and reliability across its high-volume battery production facility. You will design, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, working closely with operations and engineering teams.

Relocation support is available for the right candidate. The role emphasizes durability, preventive maintenance, and root-cause analysis to reduce downtime and extend asset life while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience applying reliability engineering principles including RCA, maintenance optimization, and failure elimination
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with manufacturing equipment experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute reliability strategies to improve equipment uptime and asset performance
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures
• Design and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using equipment history and reliability best practices
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex equipment issues
• Support equipment modifications, installations, and improvement projects for safety and long-term reliability
• Analyze equipment performance metrics to improve productivity and reduce downtime
