Job summary

Greif in Tacoma, WA seeks a Reliability Engineer to enhance equipment performance across the mill. You will apply reliability engineering, data analysis, and maintenance strategy development to reduce downtime and extend asset life.

Responsibilities include RCFA, preventive/predictive maintenance, CMMS data management, and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and contractors to drive continuous improvement and safe, reliable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed on the job posting.
• 4–8 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, reliability, or related industrial operations.
• Strong data-driven decision making and problem solving.
• Experience with CMMS/maintenance management systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with QCS/OT systems or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment performance and reliability data to identify failure trends.
• Develop and improve preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Perform RCFA and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and contractors to improve machine performance.
• Manage CMMS data and support data-driven decision making.
• Lead outages, inspections, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
