Job summary

Greif is seeking a Reliability Manager for steel operations in Alsip, IL. You will develop and execute asset reliability strategies to maximize uptime, safety, quality, and performance across plants.

You will lead RCFM, PdM, and RCFA initiatives, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring a team of reliability professionals. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years in reliability/maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading maintenance and reliability programs.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability and asset management strategies for facilities.
• Lead RCM, PM, and PdM programs.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify improvements.
• Drive RCFA and corrective action implementation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain to improve asset performance.
• Manage condition monitoring technologies (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound).
• Establish and track KPIs: OEE, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance cost, availability.
• Support capital projects and lifecycle asset planning.
• Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor reliability engineers and planners.
• Develop maintenance standards, best practices and training.
