Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking a Reliability Engineer for Franklin, OH and Clinton, IA plants. Based in Franklin, OH with travel up to 50% to Clinton, IA. This role focuses on improving asset reliability via the ARMOR program, using FMEAs/RCAs, CMMS, and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.

You will work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans and to train staff in reliability best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years in a reliability or maintenance engineering role in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of FMEA, RCA and RCM methods.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and drive reliability strategies to improve asset performance.
• Analyze equipment failures and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Lead FMEA studies and risk assessments.
• Assist and lead preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
• Track KPIs such as PM completion rate, MTBF and MTTR.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to optimize practices.
• Support asset life cycle management and spare parts strategies.
• Train personnel on reliability engineering tools and best practices.
