Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager for Franklin, OH to lead project engineering and drive capital improvements across the plant. You will focus on equipment reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance while partnering with production teams to improve overall plant performance.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, coordinating design and implementation, reviewing P&ID drawings, and working with outside contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering from an accredited institution.
Licensed Professional Engineer.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred: Paper manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Familiar with manufacturing equipment and processes, including pumps, screens, tanks, valves, and web handling equipment.
Oversee environmental compliance for all permitted equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
Develop, estimate, and implement capital projects; oversee budget, schedule, and commissioning.
Design or develop new process systems or revisions, coordinating implementation projects.
Assist with preparing programs and coordinate operational information for plant management.
Provide oversight for safety devices, NDT testing, and equipment inspections to meet code requirements.
Investigate manufacturing problems and recommend corrective actions.
Apply reliability and continuous improvement concepts to site performance.
Develop project scope, design, and cost estimates for capital improvements.
Ensure capital projects are executed on time and within budget.
