Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Reliability Engineer to monitor, analyze, and resolve system and infrastructure problems of mission-critical operational systems. You will support preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and fixed assets, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to evaluate assets and develop risk management plans.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, documentation, and sharing knowledge across the team, while maintaining established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Combination of experience and education considered in lieu of diploma.
• Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+).
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills (percentages, fractions, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine maintenance plans for assets.
• Provide technical support to site for mechanical equipment and fixed assets.
• Evaluate assets with engineering and operations teams.
• Develop risk management plans for reliability and other risks.
• Troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and equipment problems.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance schedules, configurations, and references.
• Share knowledge and coach others within the function.
